Friday June 24, 2022. Today firefighters returned to the Day Care's Science Camp to do the annual parachute drop followed by getting wet by the fire truck. The kids were all waiting when Tower 61 arrived to set up and drop the parachutes. The children pick dolls and stuffed animals and make their own parachutes for the toys. An estimated sixty (60) parachutes were dropped. John Lukowski from the Science Camp went up in the bucket to do the actual drops. As you can imagine, some floated to earth nicely and others came down rather quickly. After the drops were completed, the kids got to get wet underneath the tower bucket. A fun day was had by all.
