Saturday May 27, 2023. At 2:30 pm today firefighters from Kimberton, Phoenixville, Valley Forge, Ridge, Lionville, Royersford, and tankers from East Whiteland & Malvern along with West End Ambulance and Phoenixville's Tower Health were dispatched to the 500 block of Deer Run Lane for a house on fire. Crews saw the smoke from several miles out and requested a working fire dispatch. First in crews were met with heavy fire from the front of the home and began an aggressive attack. Phoenixville's ladder crew went to the roof and ventilated it for the interior crews. The Chester County Fire Marshals office investigated the cause of the blaze. Belfor (property Restorations) secured the home after fire crews left the scene. Firefighters spent just over two (2) hours working on the scene.
