Saturday June 3, 2023. For the 2nd Saturday in a row Kimberton firefighters found themselves responding to a working house fire. This alarm came in at 11:05 AM in the 1500 block of South Beaver Hill Road in West Vincent Twp. Responding with Kimberton were units from Lionville, Ridge, Ludwigs Corner, Valley Forge, Limerick, East Whiteland, West End Ambulance and Uwchlan EMS. The fire had a big head start on firefighters as the homeowner was not home and neighbors reported smelling smoke for a while before anyone actually saw fire coming from the home. There were no injuries on the firegrounds. Crews stayed on the scene until just after 2 PM working on the home. Crews from Belfor (Property Restorations) secured the home after fire crews left the scene.
