House fire on Valley Hill Road

Monday evening March 30,2026. Just before 10 PM the Kimberton FD and surrounding departments were alerted for a house on fire in the 2000 block of Valley Hill Road in Charlestown Township. First-in crews were met with heavy fire on the front porch and door area. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire and went inside to dig out fire in the walls by the front door. Chester County Fire investigators were called to the scene and remained there with Kimberton Fire personnel until around 12:30 AM. Belfor Property Restorations boarded up the area at the front door and worked with the homeowner to clean-up fire damage.
